The Fourth
Canadian Quality Congress, June 27-29, 2012
Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Join us in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for the 4th Canadian Quality Congress presented by the Canadian Society for Quality (CSQ) in participation with many fine sponsors. The first inaugural Congress was held in the campus of University of British Columbia, in Vancouver (in 2009), second one at the University of Toronto (in 2010) and the third congress at U of Manitoba, Winnipeg (2011) - all of which attracted quality managers, business executives, research scholars and CEOs from Canada, United States and from over 25 countries from around the world.

Congress theme: "Closing the Quality Gap: Manufacturing vs Service Organizations" is the theme of this 4th Congress. You are invited to come and share your successes and challenges in managing quality. Learn, collaborate and discuss best practices and new applications while exploring new initiatives and research done around the world in improving everything that people do. Particular emphasis will be given to presentations on quality in service industries, government agencies, healthcare and educational institutions.

To present a paper: Send your draft manuscript by January 31st and final paper by February 29th, 2012, to: CSQ@shaw.ca The Best Paper Award will be presented by Emerald Publishing Group of UK, the official Congress transaction publisher.

Welcoming remarks from many local invited guests and dignitaries followed by keynote speaker's presentations;

  • Dr. H. James Harrington, author of 35 books on quality and past President of American Society for Quality (ASQ) and International Academy for Quality (IAQ);
  • David McClaskey, President; Pal's Business Excellence Institute, a consultant with 100% success rate of his clients winning the American National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award;
