SHANGHAI  ASSOCIATION  for  QUALITY  (SAQ)   presents  the  MAGNOLIA  AWARD  for  GLOBAL  CONTRIBUTION  TO  QUALITY  to  three  prominent  quality  gurus  during  the  5^th  Shanghai  International  Symposium  for  Quality (6^th SISQ) and the 10^th  International  Conference  on  ISO  9000  and   TQM  (10^th ICIT)  held  in  Shanghai  on  March  28-30,  2005  at  the  Galaxy  Hotel  in  Shanghai, China.  The  awardees for  2005  are: 

   (a) Dr.  Lennart  Sandholm, founder  of  Swedish’  L. Sandholm Association  and  Fellow  of International Quality Science  Institute; 

   (b) Prof. Lang Zhizheng, Senate  of  the  State Council and  Beijing Polytechnic Unit;  and 

   (c) Dr.  Miflora M. Gatchalian, Fellow  of  American  Society  for  Quality,

Secretary General-Emeritus  of Asia  Pacific Quality Organization  and Member International Academy  for  Quality.
